About Bernt Eklund

Bernt Eklund is a veteran sound designer and re-recording mixer with over 40 years of experience at the pinnacle of the industry. From his foundational education in Music Production at Ferger Studios (1983) to his specialized training in Film Sound at the Dramatical Institute in Stockholm (1991), Bernt’s career has been defined by a relentless pursuit of sonic perfection.

His portfolio includes some of Scandinavia’s most iconic productions, including Gåsmamman, Jägarna, Heder, and LasseMajas Detektivbyrå. After decades of high-stakes mixing and sound design in Stockholm, Bernt has brought his expertise to Spain to establish BeSol Studios—a premier remote-working hub and creative sanctuary.

At BeSol, Bernt merges the disciplined "Nordic" technical standard with the "Sol" of the Mediterranean, offering clients a unique blend of veteran mastery and an inspiring, light-filled atmosphere.
